چکیده

The notion of a 1-vertex transfer matrix for multidimensional codes. It is shown that the capacity of such codes, or the topological entropy, can be expressed as the limit of the logarithm of spectral radii of 1-vertex transfer matrices. Storage and computations using the 1-vertex transfer matrix are much smaller than storage and computations needed for the standard transfer matrix. The method is applied to estimate the first 15 digits of the entropy of the 2-dimensional (0,1) run length limited channel. In order to compare the computational cost of the new method with the standard transfer matrix and have rigorous bounds to compare the estimates with a large scale computation of eigenvalues for the (0,1) run length limited channel in 2 and 3 dimensions have been carried out. This in turn leads to improvements on the best previous lower and upper bounds for that channel. 2000 Mathematics Subject 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 05A16, 28D20, 37M25, 82B20

Semi-Blind Channel Estimation based on subspace modeling for Multi-user Massive MIMO system

‎Channel estimation is an essential task to fully exploit the advantages of the massive MIMO systems‎. ‎In this paper‎, ‎we propose a semi-blind downlink channel estimation method for massive MIMO system‎. ‎We suggest a new modeling for the channel matrix subspace. Based on the low-rankness property, we have prposed an algorithm to estimate the channel matrix subspace. In the next step, using o...

Simultaneous estimation of heat fluxes applied to the wall of a channel with turbulent flow using inverse analysis

The main purpose of this study is to estimate the step heat fluxes applied to the wall of a two-dimensional symmetric channel with turbulent flow. For inverse analysis, conjugate gradient method with adjoint problem is used. In order to calculate the flow field,   two equation model is used. In this study, adjoint problem is developed to conduct an inverse analysis of heat transfer in a channel...

Distributed Source Model for Short-Range MIMO

The plane-wave, or point-source, assumption has been used extensively in array signal processing, parameter estimation, and wireless channel modeling to simplify analysis. It is suitable for single-input-single-output (SISO) and single-inputmultiple-output (SIMO) systems, because the rank of the channel matrix is one. However, for short-range multiple-input-multipleoutput (MIMO) systems with li...
